François Ewald, Director François Ewald holds a doctorate in political science and first degrees in law, philosophy and psychoanalysis. He is titular professor of the chair of insurance studies at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (Cnam), director of the Ecole nationale d'assurances and an associate professor of the School of Law of the University of Connecticut in Hartford (USA). Mr Ewald was the founder of the Michel Foucault Centre Association after having been assistant to him at the Collège de France (1976-1984). He is in charge of publication of Michel Foucault's teaching works at the Collège de France. François Ewald is a member of the Académie des technologies, an editorialist and columnist on the Les Echos newspaper and a member of the French National Sustainable Development Council. |
